Latino Network is a Portland nonprofit that provides wrap-around services to the Latino Community. During my time there, one of our organizational goals was to solidify the organization's role as a community advocate.
As a part of the communications team, one of our goals was to begin using short-form videos to engage our followers and create content that could be used as a resource for other community organizations.
In the lead-up to the 2022 midterm elections, I developed a short-form, bilingual social media video to encourage civic participation among Portland’s Latinx community. The goal was to energize voters, reduce barriers to engagement, and remind our community that their voice matters—especially in local elections.
This project was part of a broader digital campaign designed to boost turnout and ensure our followers had the resources and motivation to make their vote count.
