Every year, Open School Inc. hosts a fundraising gala to support its mission of reimagining education for historically underserved students in East Multnomah County. In 2025, the event marked a major milestone: 50 years of impact.
But they needed more than just an anniversary celebration. With new leadership and ambitious fundraising goals, the gala needed to both honor their legacy and boldly communicate their vision for the future — all while engaging sponsors, donors, and community partners in a fresh way.
The challenge was building an event experience that felt mission-aligned, emotionally resonant, and professionally executed — without overwhelming Open School’s lean team.
The goals for this project were:
➤ Develop clear, consistent event messaging that could carry across every platform
➤ Design branded materials that felt bold, warm, and rooted in community
➤ Increase attendance, boost online engagement, and support a successful fundraising outcome

I led the customization and management for Open School’s fundraising platform on Greater Giving, including the gala landing page, ticketing flow, and sponsor recognition pages. My work ensured the site was cohesive, on-brand, and user-friendly—streamlining the guest experience and supporting a successful donor journey from RSVP to donation.
